Thinklum wins Young ICT Explorers 3rd place in NSW with Handy Hands Robotics project

We are very excited to share great achievement of our team as we won the 3rd place at Young ICT Explorers in NSW in Year 9-10 category. We had much younger students involved in a project and having won in a much higher category adds even more value to our amazing achievement.

We have been working on project online over almost half a year of lockdown. Our students representing Thinklum International Robotics Team have been working hard at home with weekly live online sessions with their robotics class mentors Andrei and Mila.

We used various technologies for online collaboration and worked on our robotics project in a similar way all adult professionals work every day. This was absolutely amazing experience for students as they were able to learn project management, brain storming, creating presentations, making a scientific research of articles and materials and of course they have designed multiple robotics devices and programmed them.

The robotic project represents robotized prototype of devices for physiotherapy. These devices may help restore the functioning of hands and fingers of those patients who can not attend therapists and have to stay at home while still needing important treatment and exercises.

Congrats to our students and their families! Well done team!
