Terms and Conditions

thinklum Terms and Conditions

Thank you very much for your interest in Thinklum STEM classes. We hope your child will have a great time! Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions set out below – thank you!

When enrolling your child into our program you agree on the Rules and Conditions listed below.

We do not provide laptops. Make sure you have your own laptops. This is due to the safety and hygiene reasons. We also have home assignments and half of assignments and work is via online learning environment, so having your own laptop is essential.

Due to the safety reasons ensure your child has no flu like symptoms or running nose before you attend a physical class. To ensure our environment is safe for both students and teachers, we will not allow a student to attend a class if he/she shows any flu like symptoms or has a running nose.

Make sure your child washes hands before and after the attendance of the class.

Please, ensure your child has a small snack (such as a piece of fruit, muesli bar, water) to eat before the class (if needed)

In case your child has a medical condition, please, ensure you have informed us of any special requirement.

We carry no responsibility for any injury, death, loss or damage to the student's personal belongings during a class. Parents/guardians understand and are fully aware of the risks associated with their child participating in the activities and won't suit, proceed, demand compensation of costs and expenses which may be taken or made against Thinklum and Thinklum staff.

  • Enrolments will not be accepted without payment

  • When not paid, we are not able to guarantee availability of place for your child

  • If you are not able to pay on time but wish to be enrolled into the program, please, contact us hi@thinklum.com to discuss available options

You can get a full refund without penalties or fees:

  • When cancelling enrolment earlier than 7 business days before the start of the first class or online session. If you notify us later than 7 business days, we will refund you the following amounts (6 business days - 90%, 5 business days - 70%, 4 business days - 60%, 1-3 business days 50%)

  • Inability to attend 50% of physical classes due to a medical condition (medical certificate required)

The access to the premises is restricted to conform with the safety.

You may only stay in a classroom to help your child or support him/her only in case they need assistance due to health, behavioural or developmental conditions. However, due to NSW regulations you need to obtain WWCC. Please, do it beforehand as we won’t allow you to stay in the classroom unless you present your Id and a valid WWCC certificate.

If you are enrolled into Robotics Class or Workshop, please carefully read safety rules with a child:

  • You will receive the first email notification that your child’s enrolment is coming to an end around 3 weeks before your child’s last session

  • The second email reminder will be then sent 5 working days prior to the last session.

If your child is not a student of school where we are running our classes then drop off is required.

Please, pick up your child on time.

Please, sign out your child before and after the lesson.

Late pick up charges apply 10$ for every 10 minutes.

Starting on time is important. It allows an educator to fully explain the session to the whole group  and increase the time the educator can spend providing feedback and answering questions.

Monday – Friday 9.30am – 6.00pm

Saturday 9.30am – 1.00pm

Sunday Closed

Please, talk to your kids and explain we expect them to respect our teachers and other students. Bullying is not allowed in any form and we hold the right to cancel the rest of the session with no refund due to bullying and inappropriate and not respectful behaviour.

We may take pictures and record videos during the lessons. We may use them for promotional purposes, on our web site and social networks, our news and blog publications.

If you do not want to give us a permission to use any of the materials with your child, please, inform us in a written form.

We reserve the rights to cancel the classes at any time. In case we cancel the classes we will notify you beforehand and refund the cost of cancelled session/sessions.

We reserve the right to update and change the rules and conditions at any time. The changes become effective immediately after publishing them on our web site. To ensure you are aware of the rules and conditions, please, check them regularly.
